I've had the same problem you're dealing with for months--both in NIS and now 360. I've contacted 'chat' frequently...reinstalled using NRnR and the clean uninstall followed by reinstall (both products). Nothing has helped. Chat support tried various 'fixes' and I got assurances all was fixed. Windows 8 OAC is turned offf (was told by tech support this is a known conflict with Win8 and Norton). Nothing has helped. It works fine for 2-3 days, and then scans stop. I'll be following this thread in hopes someone provides a viable solution rather than wasting my time reinstalling yet again. Good luck!!
