Rather than looking to the firewall rules directly, instead use the Norton Network Security Map and make sure that your network trust level is set to "Shared" and that the other computer and printer device trust levels are also "Shared" or "Full Trust." I do not think that Symantec has adopted a customer retention strategy based on the idea that angry customers, whose programs have been interfered with, are more likely to renew their subscriptions. I'm sure any connectivity issues that might be caused by Norton are unintended.
