then those are not "additional AV programs" but free, known to be reputable websites like this one with a first class reputation for working with the user one on one to detect and remove malware infections including the hidden stuff the reactivates the malware even after you remove it by normal methods.

But as I say if you don't want to go that way that's your decision but don't malign people for giving help that has worked for others.
