Hi All
I'm in Canada
Currently my hubby and I are running N360 on our PCs. He runs scans with N360 only and I run scans with N360 PLUS the Free Malwarebytes. Today he purchased a Virus Removal Device called the Fix Me Stick. Not sure if this is only sold in Canada or not.
This is a USB device that boots your computer up in Linux and checks for malware, supposedly finding bad things that your regular anti-virus doesn't. According to the box: "External hardware-based removal of viruses, spyware, trojans, rootkits and more that cannot be removed by software security programs"
Has anyone around here heard of this and or tried it? I don't think that any software from this gets loaded onto the PC, and it is supposed to be used in conjunction with regular security software. But I know that Norton doesn't like to play with other loaded software. Anyhow, if anyone has knowledge about this please let me know.
Thanks
Barb
