Yes, thanks.  Actually I was wrong; it was not  atieclxx.exe that was the culpret, it was a trojan "Vundo" which was (thanks to you) found by MalwareBytes - free version.  That program quaranteened and deleted it after I rebooted; so far it has not come back. :)
