Yes, I know about this, but I just disagree with this whole concept. But unfotunately it seems to be the norm now. On one occasion I went to setup a CD and GE Retail Bank sent me off to myoptimizerplus.com to setup the account. On another occasion on my mom's AT&T DSL account a few years back, it would send you to some other URL for diagnosing problems. How companies think this is a good idea is beyond me. IMO, all this is doing is making it easier for scammer's to fool you when it is now common place to send you to some other site. A really really bad idea.
