If you can, maybe you should try the Norton Removal and Reinstall tool to ensure you have a clean installation. www.norton.com/nrnr Just be sure you read the 'Before you begin' warnings if you have other Norton products installed.
Be sure you run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.
