Hi TheFaceCirca:
If you re-install Adobe Flash using an installer downloaded from the official Adobe website and Flash still doesn't run properly when you test your installation at http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html, there might be some other issue preventing your Flash from working properly . I personally found that upgradiing the grapics drivers for my old NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS video card and disabling grapics hardware acceleration (see the Adobe support article Video Playback Issues, as well as my post here in VaSummer's thread Flashplayer11x32au Download Gets NIS Warning) solved most of my Flash crashes in my Firefox browser.
Many other users have found that conflicts with another browser extension or plugin will cause Adobe Flash to constantly crash (see the Firefox support article Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems), which is why bjm_ asked you what extensions you have installed in Firefox.
Be sure to post back and let us know how you're doing once you get Flash re-installed on your computer. Other users might have a few other useful troubleshooting tips if you're still having problems after the reinstall.
