Under normal circumstances what F4E suggests may work - but it appears from your post that you have already uninstalled your N 360 by using the Norton Removal Tool. In cases such as yours, you may find that running the NRT will give you an error similar to the following:
In situations where you do not have a Norton Product installed - the NRnRT will not function.
I suggest you go to you log into your Norton Acccount, select the Yellow Download button for the active N 360 license on the Products Tab and that should install a fresh, activated copy of N 360 on your system. Be sure to run LiveUpdate (rebooting if requested) until LiveUpdate responds with "noupdates found" - thuis will get you current on defs.
