Well, I guess this answers the question about "am I screwed".....
I really don't know what I'll do now, because I can't update my old (this) computer either, and it's increasingly risky to get online. I've got to do something NOW.
If I switch to some other product there's no guarrenty that the updates for that will be any less -- same goes for the free options.
Can the download manager from Norton that downloads and checks the actual Norton 360 program be run from a flash drive? The local library told me that they do not allow any downloads on their machines. But if one of those computers can accept two flash drives at the same time I might be able to run the Norton DM from one drive and have Norton 360 downloaded to the other. I'm just grasping at straws, here...
