Hi lpleb.

 

I have to agree with you that the other post is confusing as there is no obvious black/grey x.  But I suspect that it may have been cut off in the preparation of the image for posting....

 

The was hopefully a temporary one.  I suggest you might like to try the following.

 

  • Reboot your computer into whichever mode you wish to use for the backup.
  • Make sure you have a good Internet connection.
  • Open N360 and select the Backup panel.
  • Select "Manage Backup sets" from the dropdown menu that appears.
  • Select the "Where" tab which is likely to actually say "Where(None)".
  • On the pane which should now appear you will probably have "Secure Online Storage" at the top with some red text saying "(Click here to activate your Secure Online Storage)".  Click on that.
  • In the next window you should be asked for an email address and a password.  Fill these in with the email address and password that you normally use with your Norton account (Not the one you use for these forums).
  • Click on the "Sign In"button and hopefully all will be well.
