I recently installed Norton 360 on a desktop using Windows 7 and a laptop also using Windows 7 with no problems.
I then installed the same program on a desktop using Windows Xp SP2 - before the installation, everything worked fine.
The installation seemed to go allright but after, what looked like a complete installation, I could move the mouse but I could not accomplish anything when I clicked on any programs, anything on the task bar, the Start button..nothing.
I restarted the PC and it booted to the desktop but still the mouse had no affect.
Even when I started up in Safe mode, or any other mode for that matter, I could move the mouse but nothing would happen when I clicked on any option or icon.
