Could you tell us where you purchased the N360 from? There are various authorized distributors in addition to Norton itself.
Did you download it from the seller or from Norton or ?
If you click on Support you should find an entry Subscription Status and if you click on that it will double check against the Norton database and correct any glitches.
The bad news could be if you bought from a private seller and got a partially used copy with only 44 days left. The best way to resolve this if all else fails is to contact the Norton OnLine Support Team by the CHAT route which uses the computer keyboard and not the phone.
