It is not just IE, but all 64 bit browsers that are not supported by the Norton Toolbar functions."

Hi,

As of yesterday, I have disabled the NVP add-on in IE 11, W7 X64 & NIS 21.4

I also had always disabled the Norton Toolbar and only enabled Identity Protection add-on.

Next step was to enable EPM and reboot the pc.

IE 11 in hybrid 32/64 bit mode was very fast, now it's superfast!!

In Manage Add-ons it shows, although disabled, the NVP as incompatible but no problem.

The Safe Web icons work perfectly, but it's a bit early to claim victory for that, still monitoring. (so far they appear instantly).

In NIS Advanced GUI, everything is OK and enabled at the exception of the Identity Safe feature which has always been manually disabled ,also, in Settings tab, everything remains green, like Browser Protection & Intrusion Prevention features.

Norton Autofix is green OK and in Windows Event Viewer there are zero errors.

I do not know if I'm still protected, the same level as before, but I think I will stay on IE 11 full 64-bit mode.

Any feedback from users and/or Gurus, and also Symantec staff is very welcome! (about security level with NVP disabled/incompatible).

Thank you.

Regards,
