I disagree.

The Hybrid Sleep/Hibernate function was introduced by Microsoft in Windows 8, to give customers the * benefit * of a faster boot time.
This is a questionable benefit, if it retricts other programs such as Norton from operating as they need to.
I submit that the problem lies with Microsoft, and not Symantec.
I disagree. When Windows 8 was released it already has the fast boot & I already had Norton 360 earler version (version 21.x.x.x) installed. Norton worked fine so this proved that the fast boot didn't affect anything.
Then I upgraded Norton 360 to the Premier version & problem started. This proved that Norton had made changes to their software which is not compatible to fast boot.
I find it ridiculous for Norton to point their fingers at Windows 8 when their software is just crappy.
